Hi, I have a spring reverb that I think has a blown input that I need repairing, you have been reccomended as a good person to contact with regards to this.

Apologies if this is not the correct place but I can't find an email on this site to contact you with?

Thanks

Actually, the Novachord did not have the scanner vibrato system. The Novachord's vibrato was a vibrating-reed system that modulated the top-octave oscillators. There were 6 reeds, each affecting a pair of oscillators, judging from the schematic.

Have a look at the process of completely-restoring one of these beasts...amazing work:

Hello Cous,

Great to see your website up and running, and good to see you the other day. You were talking about a Yammy Sampler with me, it sounds good, but I really need to know if my Ensoniq EPS is just a very large paper weight or wurth getting going ? My bro gave it to me ages ago and I have had it in lots of pieces on the floor a few times to try and see what is wrong with it. But my electronics is not so good! I can do the PCB design bit but thats as far as it goes! By the way I also read your artical on the Fairlight CMI way back and thought it was Brilliant.
Wish I had one, I used to dream about it back in the 80's whlie we were trying to get our heads around the DX7s and its 9 million page manual on algorithms! Great web site, I can use it to understand a bit more about synths now, Speak to you soon, cheers Cous

Hi Mr Leete, i read an interesting article in the UK Based Sound on Sound magazine that you did oin the Fairlight CMI Synth / Sampler, which is one of my Favourite instruments of all time. I was wondering if you still had the Fairlight? I am one of many millions of technology fans and have also become interested in the Mellotron (especially the Mk II and Mk IIFX Models) I love to see any technology but i guess you could call the Mellotron 'The Grand Daddy of the Fairlight' Right? although i know the mellotron stored sounds on real tape rather than digitally, i suppose it could be called the worlds first sample player, after all the sounds are kind-of samples of notes right? I love the site by the way, very informative and useful with hints and tips, well done! All the best to you from Kristien Bell-Wadge from Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire

Hi Norm,

Saw your comments on the website (I'll try to get my typing improved!) and general Renishaw situation (It's good to laugh:-) - saw the shares fell 33 points today, the share holders should look out!

Might be worth buying the odd share just to get a free lunch and to meet some like-minded shareholders!

Hope You & Verity are enjoying your post-Renishaw existence as much as Martin & I,

Nick
